The Clapper sound occurs about 15 frames before the color of the clapper inverts. This makes it somewhat useless as a Clapperboard unless if you sync it up roughly 15 frames off to make sure it in sync. Also I don't understand why text can't take up more space in portrait mode when there's all this unused space. Add a feature that allows users to fix the sync (maybe a millisecond slider or FPS offset like 15/29.97 FPS offset) I imagine the sync issue might be a little diffrent based on the phone...2024-04-22 21:42:25

Sorry guys you seem to have missed the point of a slate and I would like to prevent further confusion for people learning the the ropes in cinematography. Scene: is the scenario of the movie. Shot: can be understood as the coverage of that scene. ie different angles and camera movements and shot sizes of the same scene Take: is how many times you rolled on that shot in order to perfect that shot or get enough to cover that shot.2024-04-19 18:44:15
