The Clapper sound occurs about 15 frames before the color of the clapper inverts. This makes it somewhat useless as a Clapperboard unless if you sync it up roughly 15 frames off to make sure it in sync. Also I don't understand why text can't take up more space in portrait mode when there's all this unused space. Add a feature that allows users to fix the sync (maybe a millisecond slider or FPS offset like 15/29.97 FPS offset) I imagine the sync issue might be a little diffrent based on the phone...

Really quite good. Would be nice to have other production info. Agreed, waaaaay to quiet for most things, although for soft sticks it's fine. Perhaps it could respond to where you click? Nearer the hinge (left) being quieter, further to right = louder?

This clapper works well and is fairly customizable. The UI is barebones, but does the job. I'd like to have a shot rating/reports feature like Quartz Studio's Digital Clapper app.

App does not allow timing corrections to fix delayed Android audio playback. -> Not usable on my phone.

Sorry guys you seem to have missed the point of a slate and I would like to prevent further confusion for people learning the the ropes in cinematography. Scene: is the scenario of the movie. Shot: can be understood as the coverage of that scene. ie different angles and camera movements and shot sizes of the same scene Take: is how many times you rolled on that shot in order to perfect that shot or get enough to cover that shot.
