Mostly extremely useful while on the ship, great for keeping track of dining spots, activities, accounts, etc. Good ship maps with multiple variations to aid finding what I was looking for. The only problem was the unreliability of the messaging system; this was often not working or only working for single person texting rather than group texting. The app was very informational, but sometimes a bit glitchy. It awhile to pull up information or to fully load the page, which was fine until I really needed it to pull something up quickly to find my group. Very nicely updated to the day's events and times. I wish the ship map coordinated to where you were on the ship at that moment. Honestly, Carnival is meant to be cheap, but there is such thing as too cheap.... there is an additional fee for literally everything. WIFI is ~$60/day. Using the app if free but if you want to text that's $5 if you want to do anything it costs. The extra fees are unending even w an "unlimited" package. Very convenient. Keeps up-to-date with what is going on board the ship. Check your balance and manage booking for specialty restaurants and other events on board. You can check the menu for the restaurants and also lets you make the reservation, shows the waitng time. Notify you once the table is ready, very convenient. Everything was great with the Carnival Hub App other than the chat feature not working at random times throughout the cruise. That was a big issue as it was our only way of communicating with some of the members in our group. But the planner feature, the receipt breakdowns, and the schedule of events were great features!
