I have a love/hate relationship with this app/service. For the price it costs for a single season subscription ($163+ USD) is absurd to begin with, but for some of us this is the only way of watching the races since most providers no longer carry the channel that runs them. Anyway, onto the app... it seems to buffer a bit too often and reminders for ALL portions of a race weekend never seem to work. Too buggy for the cost, and STILL only 1080?? Dec2023: THANK YOU for removing the spoiler video thumbnails!! I appreciate that they listened to fans and fixed that. However, there are still a lot of issues remaining. E.g. the screen STILL WON'T AUTO-ROTATE. Navigation and search is a bit of a mess. Controls overlay is way too dark. Wish list: minimize to miniplayer, audio only w/ screen off, playback speed control, pinch to zoom, persistent or default playback options. Also, Matt Birt needs to talk less. You guys really need to streamline the app. It's not easy to distinguish between menus etc. I have many recommendations but not enough characters here. The video stream and the content itself are fine. Thank you Update. What in the hell have you done with the latest application update? It's is utter, utter garbage. I have had this App for the last 5 years. I have NEVER had as much problems as I have had this year. Stop messing with something that was good. Couldn't watch the Qatar video fully as it keeps sending error messages saying it couldn't download video and the menu structure is truly atrocious. The recent redesign killed the user experience and made navigation much more frustrating than it was previously. Video bit rates are very low so even 1080p doesn't look crisp on screen. Continues to cast after closing out of the streaming interface on my TV so sound keeps playing even though the video has stopped. For how much Dorna charges to subscribe to Videopass the app and service should be much better than they are. Great racing, but not going to renew my subscription next season.2025-01-25 10:20:25

The summer break update has ruined this app for me. There is no longer a spoiler free mode, and selecting the video you want to watch is difficult because you can't tell which events happened in what order anymore. The TV app is worse, and I have completely given up on it. I'm going to just cast from my phone. Paying almost $200 for a yearly subscription should not result in this horrible user interface and experience. Making an app pretty doesn't mean you should make it impractical.2025-01-24 21:26:42
