It was great for synching a calendar across iOS and Android devices, but they've now hidden basic functions behind a subscription paywall. I get that apps need to make money to stay around, but a screen widget and the ability to see more than a month out is not premium content, that's basic stuff for a calendar app. I'll be switching soon to a competitor.2025-02-14 08:23:35

So imagine my surprise this morning when I opened the app, and I can no longer see my calendar past 30 days ahead! Unlike some, I do NOT recall receiving any kind of notification that this was going to happen. I can only add to what's been said in recent days. The calendar app has certainly been a useful tool for me and my family for a great many years. However, the introduced cost is too high for the amount of use that I make of it; perhaps it might have been possible to have tiered pricing as a lot of the features and content I have no need for. I would have considered a nominal monthly charge, but jumping from 'free' to the ridiculously high price it has been set at (in May 24) is a step too far.2025-02-13 09:24:57

Extremely dissapointed with the update that now requires you to pay for features that have been available for years with the free version. Our family has been using the free version of Cozi for about 10 years and it was a great app. If these features are not made available at no cost again, unfortunately we will be Uninstalling the app. With cheaper to no cost alternatives it is not worth $40 a year.2025-02-12 09:37:04

I have used Cozi for as long as I can remember, at least the last five years, and I recommended it to anyone who needed a family calendar. However, with their new update, every useful feature is behind a pay wall. You can't use the widget unless you pay. You can't schedule beyond 30 days unless you pay. I might understand a one-time fee for lifetime access but $40 a year just for a calendar makes no sense. I will be moving on.2025-02-12 09:21:02
