Further update: I have discovered the remote speaker power function does work, but only if you have the location services / GPS turned on. Developers take note, this may be the reason why this function works for some and not others. Despite many other reviewers complaining of the same thing, the developers still have not fixed the remote power on feature, which used to work perfectly. Loss of this feature has totally ruined the app. Edit: Thank you to the developers for replying. I tried the suggestion, the power button came back, failed to work, then disappeared again. However, I am not emailing anyone for a work-around to the problem. Everyone is having the same issue, so instead of dealing with individuals, spend the time to fix the app. We know you can do it, as it worked perfectly before the updates.2024-04-17 11:21:57

Yo UE, What happened to the stereo sound with left and right audio? I had the previous megaboom app that had it and was forced to Uninstall the older app when I installed this one. I no longer see left and right stereo sound option! This was my favorite feature when paired with one other device and I regret losing out on it. Also miss the cool volume toggle from the megaboom app in the color of my speaker as the screen. Still love the products and have multiple ue products in my home. Revise app!2024-04-17 05:19:32

I used the old megaboom app, then finally switched to this, after months of the old app saying something new was on the way. My fault for not checking, I guess. This improved app does a lot of things better, and adds a few small things that also make it better. I can just open this app and see the battery status of both speakers in a couple of seconds once it recognizes the speakers. I only gave this 4/5 stars because I know it can always get better. Sept 6 2022. Success! The party up feature is working. Gave it test to see what would happen and in less time than imagined, they synched up! Currently testing to see how well in works through the day. Will try moving speakers to different rooms. If the phone gets too far it does get glitchy. Purposely unsynchronized both the speakers, waited a few minutes, turned it back on it synced up immediately.2024-04-16 10:51:58

The UI is a little cumbersome but the app does work fairly well. I use this just about every day. I own two UE BOOM 2 speakers. I use this app to pair them together. Connecting them together is a little slow. Turning off a speaker is somewhat slow. But I don't mind the hassles because it's good enough. I've never had problems with disconnecting or sound control issues. Other systems might be more convenient but at a higher cost.2024-04-15 19:35:53

The so used to work absolutely perfectly. Then it was revamped. Not only does the app look worse, it has done Swiss lag between me altering the volume and it doing it. Sometimes it doesn't even work. The remote switch on turns on the device but reports it failed every time. My phone no longer automatically connects - I have to go in to Bluetooth settings every time. Alexa is gone.
