It's a great app to keep track of what is happening with your baby each week. Also there is helpful tips on the feed. Community posts sometimes gets a little dramatic but if someone really gets out of hand you can flag their post as inappropriate. Overall a great app! Update: The baby name generator is kind of silly, there's like 4 normal names then a bunch of ridiculous ones. In the womb option is really cool. I love this app! There are a few things that Ovia may want to consider adding in the future to make the app truly spectacular. It would be awesome if there was a function to start timing and keeping track of contractions (i.e. a one stop shop). The only other suggestion I have would be to switch up the lady in the weekly videos. She is fantastic but im often doubting if she is really as far along as she says she is. Or, the app could use a variety of women for the videos to show that there are many different body size variations during pregnancy.2024-06-07 14:51:22

There is an obvious, concerted effort to avoid any mention of "women" in this app. Pregnant women are always referred to as "folks" or "pregnant people" in any articles about your pregnancy, such as the weekly pregnancy updates. UPDATE REPONSE TO DEVELOPER: Thank you for your reponse. My review had no complaints about me not having a "space to feel included". I love the app, and have used it for all of my pregnancies. However, I am currently pregnant with twins, and although it gives "twins" as an option, it does not allow you to select more than 1 gender, nor does it give you the option for more than 1 name.
