I really want to enjoy this game, but I've had so many issues with updates messing up the game and forcing me to reinstall, the "require data" never helps because half way into requiring data, it messes up and makes me do it again, after the most recent update I couldn't even do anything, map, dreams, couldn't look at the gear or abilities of my characters, probably won't even bother keeping this if there's more data issues with further updates.2024-08-13 19:23:44

Still love Another Eden but the power creep is getting a bit sad and out of control at this point. So many old characters that would be fun to use but just aren't capable anymore. Damage and mechanics are a bit out of wack in many cases too. One hit death bosses and many weird ways you need to prevent it. Hope things improve rather than keep going down this road. Great game. Critique: - Transferring to and from Steam is a painful endeavour. And us a requirement to activate subscriptions as they can only be activated via mobile (as if this review) - Items still desperately need stacking to clean up inventories. It's a mess - Removing the 5* characters from the catch up campaign and the bonus to earlier Episode content is a downgrade. It only helps new players get into the game. Game is actually good. You can get to the end with the units given to you perfectly fine. New units make the game way easier, but getting the new units from the gacha is EXTREMELY unlikely from my year and a half of playing as a money spender (not quite whale/closer to dolphin). There is no pity system for units. If you decide to spend money, do it to support the game, not for the sake of a character you probably won't get. Takes too long to download. And when everything is downloaded, it takes at least 5mins to check all downloads are completed. This happens everytime I have to close the screen. Can we get a one time download and quick check? I don't have 5mins waiting for a status bar to fill up. Will adjust stars accordingly.
