This game at first looks rather basic. After the first few levels once ammo conservation, and health kicks in it gets serious. Really fun overall and the music is kickass, which is usually quite rare in mobile games. The only thing I could say for improvement is maybe allow the use of looking at yer weapons or upgrading while at the home screen, instead of having to go into a battle.2024-04-13 09:28:11

One of my favorite games to play when stuck waiting on stuff. Simple to play but can get a bit strategic on later levels with all the monster skills to keep in mind when picking who to send, which enemy to prioritize and when to use abilities. This is an amazing game, and the new update added a bunch, which is great! But can the ads calm back down? 80% of them are optional, but features that were previously just an integrated part of the game, and were genuinely satisfying to achieve, like hetting a new upgrade on the cargo ship, are now almost not even worth the effort because making use of those upgrades which you already had to work for requires you to watch an ad every time! I'd say it's a great game. It's fun, it's a bit more on the challenging side, especially given the fact you gotta scavenge for most of your ammo and other loot. It of course has ads as most mobile games do, but unlike many others that do it in ways that both annoys and interrupts gameplay, Dead Shell has none of that, therefore making the experience much more enjoyable. Fun distraction that I keep coming back to. I'd be happy to toss some more money towards it, but they packs feel expensive for what you get. Also, there's a problem where you'll kill all monsters on a stage and loot all items, but the exit doesn't appear, so you have to back out, which puts the character on cooldown and you get no rewards.2024-04-11 19:17:26

Not what I thought it would be, but not bad at all! Basically ya just tap a button to choose what to do next, but this game makes it look nice and addicting. One big issue tho: upgrading your characters drastically increases their respawn time. CoC does that with their heroes and it sucks a lot of fun and joy right out of the game.
