I really loved this game for the first while of playing it. Even though it had a lot of ads, they were usually short or could be skipped after 5 seconds. Now, it has 30 second ads that can't be skipped before every puzzle and between completing each section of a puzzle. I'm not going to watch 3 minutes of ads just to finish a single puzzle that would only take about 5 minutes to finish if there weren't ads. That's absurd. The gameplay itself is good the art is lovely & the hidden puzzle feature is delightful imo. The reason this app gets a 1 from me is the ads. You have to watch 1 before every puzzle, and if you play any over 70 pieces it gets split up and you have to watch an ad before EVERY PART. Many of the ads also use predatory practices like force-opening the page or very small/covered X's so you "accidentally" click through. It's a fun concept but execution isn't great. 1) Each puzzle level uses the same pattern so once you learn the pattern it's easy to complete. 2) The largest size puzzle is unwieldy. I like to do the whole puzzle at once but there are only two options for viewing (zoomed in predetermined spaces and completely zoomed out). I'd prefer being able to zoom where I want. 3) There isn't a way to save your progress so when I got a new phone I had to start all over.2024-05-24 16:56:32

Too many ads! Pretty pictures and seamless gameplay aren't worth constant ads, especially on top of other annoyances. Tutorial goes on forever, takes too long & can't be skipped. Takes forever to load, even early in game. If phone needs attention, it triggers full reload, including ads and puzzle reset. When there's a couple minutes and I just want to play a puzzle or two, this is NOT a game to open. ❤️ puzzles. Just too many ads or I would have given 5 stars. You can't just pay a low one time fee, it is a monthly fee to have ad free. :( Nov. 15/23. The cheapest is 10.99 US to remove ads. For about a week I have been getting a pop-up I to do a survey. I have done 3xs now, cleared cache, reinstalled hoping to rid, but survey still pops up. Never received any reward promised. Game is ok. I only like the puzzles. The design choices are not my cup of tea. Hate the storyline- wish there was a skip option. Then the ads after each section of puzzle are annoying.
