Leveling is the worst aspect of the game and it's gated by a separate progress bar which you can watch ads to increase or clear dungeons. The issue is that it's designed to take more and more per "level cap" unlocked. After 25 it takes 6+k. This is roughly 5~12 dungeons depending on the dungeon and by then you will have gained enough XP to be +10 levels over the cap. But there's a monetary solution which allows you to INSTANTLY unlock higher level caps. Made a problem to sell the solution.2024-04-16 15:18:27

One of the most enjoyable in-depth mobile RPGs I've played. The only adds you see are to get free items/soulpoints. The level system is really interesting. The game reminds me of Diablo. Stat allocating and the freedom to use any class make for tons of builds. It has a few kinks and quirks, but so does any game. Would definitely recommend this to you.2024-04-16 09:02:35

Looked like a good game, but after closing the app one day I opened it up to find a loading screen counting down from 10 seconds... and started counting into the negatives. Comments say the only way to fix this his to reinstall the game and lose all your progress. Not good enough for me. Pretty solid set up for a hybrid of static runner and run around, it is simply lacking a manual mode for the attack aspect of say a hack and slash. Stats are fairly straightforward, combat simple. I dont ever rate games, but I had to make an exception here. Heretic Gods is absolutely worth your time and money(not that you have to even pay) To start this has been, hands down, one of the most fair implementations of a monetization system I've seen in any game. At no point did I feel it necessary to pay in order to gain access to additional levels. The gameplay is similar to a diablo top down ARPG and the controls are phenomenal. It's pretty good hope my opinion helps the final outcome. The level cap system is kind of dumb wish they'd get rid of it. The selling controls is irritating I sold a bunch of good item by mistake wish there was a press and hold item select. And wish there where quests.
